As Monday marks the beginning of fall, I had the great opportunity to spend the last few glorious hours of the summer of 2008 at Montrose Beach with my family. As you can see, the colors of the summer are being replaced with the rusts and browns of fall - Yet, how lovely they play against the fading light of the day and the blue of Lake Michigan.
As we picnicked at the beach, we saw so many sail boats passing by - One was even donning a Cubs main sail. Congrats to our Cubbies for clinching their division. Dare we dream for October!?!? Go Cubs Go!!!
What absolutely lovely photographs -- I especially like the one with the sail boat framed in the base of the tower -- and the colors -- well they couldn't be more lovely.
