Sunny Sunday -

I've been taking this family's portraits for the last three years. It is so neat to see these kids grow up - What a bunch of cuties. I am glad that Abby could help me keep the yellow leaves from blowing all round -

North Pond on a fun day off!

Yes - another day when the rain stayed away. The cooler weather really made the leaves pop for our session at North Pond. It was so fun to spend part of the afternoon with Cara, Maggie, and Jack. I loved their determination to conquer the sculpture. Hope Mom's shoulder has recovered! ;)

Melissa and Patrick

Summer finally came back... After a rain delay earlier this week, we were finally on for Melissa and Patrick's engagement session. As you can see we had the perfect weather. I am so excited for my September weddings. Can't wait!!!

Wonderfully busy day -

I started my day with a trip to Joliet to meet Annie for a walk through of her November wedding locations. It was a great day to see all the sites and map out the many wonderful portrait opportunities. I am looking forward to a tremendous day!

When I got back to the city, I had an awesome portrait session with Lauren and Zack at North Pond. This place does not disappoint - always something new. We had a a great time and Max even joined in the fun too!
Just because it's cute - I am throwing in this image - they both got along famously, but as a mom I know there must be times when this is very fitting! ;-P

North Pond -Sally and kids

Two for two this beautiful weekend. All I can say is wow, I LOVE my job!
It was a blast touring North Pond with Sally and the kids. Beyond taking fun and beautiful portraits we were able to have a nature lesson too - see beaver damage, a huge toad, all sorts of ducks, a heron, and even a grasshopper. The city sure has some hidden gems -
